- Walk the donkey path from Oia down to Ammoudi Bay — 45 minutes, worth it
Afternoon
- Lunch at Ammoudi Bay fish tavernas, feet near the water, lobster pasta
- Swim in the natural harbor — the rocks are slippery, wear shoes

- Assyrtiko wine tasting at one of the cave wine bars carved into the caldera cliff
Day 3 — Fira & Firostefani
Morning
- Walk or bus to Fira — the caldera path from Oia to Fira takes about 2.5 hours
- Fira has the best shopping and is more local than Oia
Afternoon
- Selene restaurant for lunch — this is a bucket-list dining experience
- Explore Firostefani, the less-crowded neighborhood between Fira and Oia
Evening
- Tropical Bar Fira for cocktails — classic Santorini nightlife spot
- Murphy's Irish Bar if you need to talk to strangers and feel like a backpacker again
Day 4 — Winery Day
Morning
- Rent an ATV — the only way to properly see the island's volcanic interior
- Drive to the black sand beach at Perissa for an early swim
Afternoon
- Estate Argyros winery tour and tasting — some of the best white wine in Greece
- The Assyrtiko grape is unique to Santorini's volcanic soil, don't leave without a bottle
Evening
- Metaxy Mas for dinner in the village of Exo Gonia — excellent traditional food away from tourists
- Back to Oia for final sunset drinks at Tango Bar, because you'll want it again
Day 5 — Last Morning
Morning
- Sunrise from your hotel terrace if it faces the caldera — set the alarm
- Francos Bar one last time for coffee — become a regular in 5 days, why not
Afternoon
- Final wander through Oia's art galleries, pick up something small
- Buy three bottles of Assyrtiko from the Assyrtiko wine shops — they travel well
Evening
- Koukoumavlos for a final dinner if budget allows — creative Greek cuisine with a view
- Watch the sunset one last time, this one hits differently
